About me

For many years, I have been intensively involved with the physical and psychological effects of chronic pain – and how sound knowledge can help people regain more control over their health.

My professional career began in scientific health communication. Through various positions – from the laboratory to medical editing – I have learned to make complex concepts understandable. I am particularly fascinated by the areas of pain mechanisms, the nervous system, and psychosomatic interactions.

Today, I work independently on my project “The Health Council,” a platform for sound and understandable health education.

The focus is on chronic complaints such as neck, head, and back pain—and on the question of how knowledge can be turned into self-help.

I work closely with experts from the fields of medicine, physical therapy, and research and am part of a network that takes evidence-based education seriously. My goal: not to lure people with empty promises—but to give them real support and guidance.

My motto: Understanding pain is the first step to changing it.
